About Kinpost

Some things are impossible to throw away, and impossible to keep.

The trophy from the season that mattered. The childhood teddy losing its stuffing. Your grandmother's teapot, living in a cupboard you open twice a year. We keep these things because of what they hold, not because we need the things themselves.

Kinpost exists for the moment an object's meaning has outgrown its shelf space. Instead of choosing between clutter and loss, capture the object in true-to-life 3D, keep its story beside it, and give the physical thing away, or box it up and still visit the memory any time you want.

Kinpost isn't another social network. It's built to feel like opening a family memory box: keepsakes belong to you, they're shared only with people who share the memory, and nothing is broadcast to strangers.

How it works

Three steps from shelf to keepsake

Scan

You take the photos yourself, a series from every angle, either with your phone's camera or chosen from your photo gallery. Kinpost, built on Apple's Object Capture with RealityKit, turns your photos into an interactive 3D keepsake.

Store

Every keepsake lives in your private collections. Keep it completely to yourself, or share it with the close friends and family who share the memory. Visibility is a choice you make for each keepsake.

Preserve

Now the shelf (and the closet, and the storage unit) gets to breathe. The physical object can go, but the memory stays: touchable, turnable, and vivid forever. Years from now, the keepsake is still exactly as you remember it.

Before you scan your first keepsake

Private by design. Every keepsake is yours: keep it completely private with Only Me, or share it with the close friends and family you've accepted on Kinpost. You choose for each keepsake, and you can change or revoke that at any time. Nothing about your memories is ever broadcast.

Kinpost is built for iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and uses Apple's Object Capture, powered by RealityKit, to turn your photos into interactive 3D keepsakes. 3D capture needs a supported device. If yours isn't, you can still browse Kinpost, connect with friends and family, and view every keepsake. You simply won't be able to create new 3D captures on that device.
