A private keepsake app

Turn Physical Memories Into Digital Keepsakes

Kinpost turns the objects that hold your stories, like birthday cards, childhood toys, and family heirlooms, into interactive 3D keepsakes. Scan them, store them, and let the clutter go while the memories stay close, vivid, and yours.

Coming soon. Kinpost launches on iPhone first.

Some things are impossible to throw away, and impossible to keep.

The shoebox of letters from someone you love. The childhood teddy losing its stuffing. Your grandmother's teapot, living in a cupboard you open twice a year. We keep these things because of what they hold, not because we need the things themselves.

Kinpost exists for the moment an object's meaning has outgrown its shelf space. Instead of choosing between clutter and loss, capture the object in true-to-life 3D, keep its story beside it, and give the physical thing away, or box it up and still visit the memory any time you want.

Kinpost isn't another social network. It's built to feel like opening a family memory box: keepsakes belong to you, they're shared only with people who share the memory, and nothing is broadcast to strangers. No feeds to scroll, no followers to count.

Our promise is simple: keep the memory without having to keep everything.

Three steps from shelf to keepsake

Scan

Set your object on a table and slowly walk around it with your phone. Kinpost's guided capture, built on Apple's Object Capture with RealityKit, photographs it from every angle and turns your photos into an interactive 3D keepsake.

Store

Every keepsake lives in your private collections. Keep it completely to yourself, or share it with the close friends and family who share the memory. No feeds, no followers, no strangers. Visibility is a choice you make for each keepsake.

Preserve

Now the shelf (and the closet, and the storage unit) gets to breathe. The physical object can go, but the memory stays: touchable, turnable, and vivid forever. Years from now, the keepsake is still exactly as you remember it.

What our testers kept

I finally let go of my grandmother's recipe box. The actual box was falling apart, but the keepsake isn't. Opening it on a Sunday feels like being eight years old again.

Maya R.Beta Tester

My dad's letters from college lived in a bin under my bed for nine years. Now they're on my shelf in the best way: always there, taking up no space at all.

Jordan T.Beta Tester

I scanned my daughter's first pair of shoes before donating them. I cried. Then I turned the keepsake over in my hands like they were real.

Quotes from our closed beta. Thank you, testers. Real names and stories to follow.

Before you scan your first keepsake

Private by design. Every keepsake is yours: keep it completely private with Only Me, or share it with the close friends and family you've accepted on Kinpost. You choose for each keepsake, and you can change or revoke that at any time. There are no public feeds, no follower counts, and no stranger-facing profiles. Nothing about your memories is ever broadcast.

Kinpost Free includes three 3D keepsake creations every month. Your first cycle begins the day you create your account, and each new cycle begins a month later. When a cycle resets, your creations don't vanish. Every completed keepsake stays in your collections, always.

Need more room to preserve? Kinpost Plus ($4.99/month) raises your limit to 15 keepsake creations per month, billed through the App Store once Kinpost launches. Keeping memories will never depend on keeping a subscription.

Kinpost is built for iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and uses Apple's Object Capture, powered by RealityKit, to turn your photos into interactive 3D keepsakes. 3D capture needs a supported device. If yours isn't, you can still browse Kinpost, connect with friends and family, and view every keepsake. You simply won't be able to create new 3D captures on that device.
